Bathroom Preparation for Bathtub & Wall Reglazing
Proper preparation helps ensure a smooth process and a long-lasting finish. Before our arrival, please remove all personal items from the bathtub, shower walls, and surrounding areas, including soap bottles, razors, shower curtains, hooks, and shelves. Items should also be cleared from vanity tops, toilet tanks, and nearby shelving.
Please provide clear access to the bathroom and keep pets and children away from the work area. A working bathroom window or access to the nearest window and an electrical outlet are required for our professional ventilation system.
To ensure proper curing, indoor temperatures should be at least 68°F in winter and 68–70°F in summer. Please also make sure the tub drains properly and notify us in advance of any loose fixtures, cracks, chips, or drain issues. On the day of service, avoid using strong cleaning chemicals or applying caulking or adhesives before our arrival.
During the Reglazing Process
Reglazing involves professional coatings and controlled ventilation.
Some odor may be present during the process but will dissipate after completion.
We use professional exhaust systems to safely remove fumes during the process.
After Refinishing
Tub and walls must remain unused for 24 hours after the refinishing service to allow the coating to properly cure. Please avoid placing any items on the surface for 48 hours, and be sure to follow all recommended maintenance and cleaning instructions to help protect the finish and maintain your warranty.
